Why are we changing from 5v5 to 3v3?
The change to 3v3 is because it’s the best introduction to football for the youngest players. 3v3 means more touches of the ball, more time playing and more opportunity to try individual skills. It also encourages more team-play and movement. 5v5 will still play a crucial role in young players’ development as they move through U8s and U9s football.
